Caltech Playreaders: 71st Season, 2021-2022
Athenaeum Hall of Associates
In November, we will be returning to in-person readings in the Caltech Athenaeum, where we have performed for most of the past 71 years. Our playbill will feature such venerable authors as Oscar Wilde, David Garrick, and Tom Stoppard.
This season we are going to play things by ear due to the ongoing COVID-19 situtation. The exact format of each performance will be determined as the situation evolves, however we hope to offer in-person performances this season. The plays performed on each date and their exact format are subject to change, please check the Playreaders' website for more information as each performance date approaches.

Athenaeum Hall of Associates, 7:30 p.m. Season usually runs October - May. Join the Playreaders meets six times a year for semi-staged script-in-hand readings of comedy and drama. Performances run about two hours. Stay after the performance for discussion with the cast. No reservations are needed for the reading, but are requested for those joining the playreaders' table in the Athenaeum Main Dining Room beforehand (reservations 626-395-8200). The table is seated promptly at 5:30 p.m. Please consult with the Athenaeum website for reservations and the latest information regarding Athenaeum dining and COVID restrictions.Admission is $3 for for CWC Members, $4 for guests.
As of Monday, October 18, the Institute (Caltech) will limit access to all indoor campus spaces to individuals with proof of full vaccination or an approved exemption. This means that all individuals, including visitors, who are eligible to receive the vaccine (i.e., everyone 12 years old or older and those without an approved exemption) must be prepared to show proof of vaccination when entering any indoor campus space. This requirement will be in effect at auditoriums and lecture halls used for public events and engagements. The process to verify proof of vaccination or approved exemption for indoor access may vary by location, but will be clearly communicated at entrances and on the Caltech Together website.
Second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. The Investment Club offers its members the opportunity to learn about investing in stocks, starting with a small buy-in.

This group of parents with young children get together for playdates and field trips. The playgroup provides mutual support for the ups and downs of parenting.
