CWC members donate their time as docents for CHATS and volunteers at the Casita Exchange
We provide service to the Caltech community through sponsorship and coordination of:
Caltech History and Architectural Tour Service (CHATS)
Tours of the Historic Campus are usually given on the fourth Thursday of the academic year (September - May). Tours begin at 10:30 a.m., starting at the entrance to the Athenaeum, 551 South Hill Avenue. No tours are given during June, July, August, or December.
Reservations: Contact Caltech campus programs (626-395-4654) or complete the tour request form on the CHATS website.

If you are unable to attend one of the scheduled CHATS campus tours the Institute does offer a self-guided walking tour on this brochure.
Interested in being a CHATS docent?Contact us at chats.caltech@gmail.com. Since 1985, our docents have led architectural tours of the campus. Any member of the Caltech Women's Club (CWC) can join: All you need is an interest in the campus and some flexible time. We have a complete script of tour material and give individual training to new members.
CWC Casita The Casita is a charming little house used for biweekly playgroup social gatherings and for lending out children's clothing, toys and household items. It features a comfortable, air-conditioned seating area where families can gather. This service provided by the Caltech Women's Club aims to support young families and build community.
